Rendez-Vous

Rendez-Vous in Another Dimension
excerpts from a stop-motion animation film
a film by Berte Neraal, 2004

A fairy-tale in the form of stop-motion animation, the film corresponds to a search for identity which moves through the conflict between the inside world and the outside space, and the superimposition of these two worlds of experience. As the surrealistic sets and the symbolic elements are part of the narration, the film is a mixture of experimental and narrative animation.

Directed by: Berte Neeral / Assisted by: Patrizia Monzani / Animation: Patrizia Monzani, Berte Neeral / Puppets: Jürgen Kling, Nicole Emmons / Cinematography by: Andres Schild / Production: HFF/Nerooli Sisters
