"Frames from the real: 11 video investigations of society in our troubled times"
A project by Visualcontainer Italian Videoart Distributor and Network.
From the archive of VisualContainer, a Eleven video selection specifically goading the European social environment at large. Their pixels cast us inside daily relationships between genders, authorities, roles and identities. There can be crude frames of the real, rather than metaphors or fancy worlds with prospective solutions to abandon to, or again a brainstorming creative mixture of both.
At last, it’s up to us to decide to which screen eventually resort: artists have made their choices, more urgently than ever it’s our very time to take side, too!
